  The business is housed in an historic building from the 1850's and if you visit now you will have the added enjoyment of seeing the autumn leaves falling.

  The name says it all. A range of around 100, 000 books in many many categories, good prices, a knowledgeable proprietress. A very pleasant visit with a rewarding purchase. And in lovely autumn surroundings too.

  This bookshop has its stock helpfully arranged in more than the usual categories. For example fiction is distinct from translated fiction. Also the person who was working there when we visited was both knowledgeable and delightfully helpful about books and their whereabouts.

  An extraordinary range of books, so many rooms full of old and new books in so many genres. A great destination if you're looking for a particular old book. The woman at the counter is very knowledgeable and willing to help you find a title you're after. When I visited Sep 2017 all books were 50% of the marked price. I bought a lovely 1959 first edition cookbook for $15!

  So many rooms, so many books. I wish I had more time to browse. I would be there for a whole day to look at every book.

  Well worth a visit. I suggest you allow time to explore this shop. It is open daily 11-5 and the stock is organised alphabetically by author. I would say this shop has something for everyone.
